XIV is an immersive music performance inspired by Jorge Luis Borges' short story The House of Asterion. XIV symbolises both infinity and duality, as depicted by the ever-changing nature of a labyrinth. Using her poetic texts written in the form of a diary, Maya designs her own labyrinth, XIV, in which the borders between imaginary and real gradually blur as her protagonist is confronted with a monster. Their relationship reflects on the unending state of anxiety brought by the war, exploring the human endeavour to break free from its grip.
